The TANDEMKROSS Game Changer Compensator is one of the most popular rimfire upgrades out there, and for good reason. Even though a .22LR isn't exactly a hand cannon, every little bit of muzzle movement matters when you're trying to run a fast, accurate string on steel. This one is machined from high-strength 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in a black hardcoat anodizing, keeping it light while standing up to range abuse.
Instead of drilling vent holes all the way around like a lot of budget comps, TANDEMKROSS went with directed ports on the top and sides. That layout was tuned specifically for the .22LR cartridge to push just the right amount of offset, so you get the recoil reduction you want without gas blasting straight down or back at you. Watching the smoke vent out the top and sides is a nice bonus, and the large openings make cleaning out lead and powder fouling a whole lot easier than fussy little holes.
Measuring 1 inch in diameter and 1.75 inches long, it threads onto any standard 1/2×28 barrel, which covers a huge chunk of the rimfire world. Think Ruger Mark III and Mark IV series, the 22/45, SR22, 10/22 and Charger, along with the Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory and plenty of other threaded .22 setups. It ships with a flat washer and an o-ring so you can time it and snug it down without any permanent modifications, and most folks have it installed in under a minute.

It's a fair question since a .22 doesn't kick much to begin with. That said, the Game Changer's directed vents noticeably reduce the small amount of muzzle flip you do get, which helps your sights settle faster between shots. Not at all. As long as your barrel is already threaded to 1/2×28, you just slide on the o-ring, thread the comp on, and rotate it until the top ports line up level. The included flat washer and o-ring let you time it snugly without any permanent modifications, and most people have it on in under a minute.
This is the original aluminum Game Changer, which is lightweight and keeps the front of your pistol nimble. The PRO version is machined from stainless steel, adds a bit of front-end weight for balance, and uses dual 45-degree vent angles with an easy-clean coating.
