The Lee Precision Six Pack Pro 6000 Kit in .45 ACP is Lee's flagship progressive, built on close to forty years of their progressive press design. The headline here is six true stations. That's one more than most presses in this price range, which leaves you an open spot for an inline bullet feed die or a powder check die while still running your sizer, powder, seater and crimp. The massive 28.4mm ram rides through 82mm of solid steel for a stable, flex-free stroke, and the all-steel linkage is the same setup Lee uses on their Classic Cast 50 BMG press.
What makes this kit worth owning is the priming system. Priming happens at the bottom of the stroke using a linear feed that works with any brand or size of primer, so all six stations stay free for loading operations. The automatic case inserter pulls cases from the universal feed magazine, or you can hand-feed through the loading port, and the automatic case ejector drops finished rounds into the ammo bin. Dies lock into the upper die carrier with Lee Smart Lock bushings, so there's no turret or tool head to swap. Changing calibers, including primer size, takes seconds with no readjustment.

Once you have real time on the handle and the press is fully dialed in, some users report clocking well over 600 rounds of handgun ammo an hour. It's built for the person loading a couple hundred rounds in a sitting rather than top-speed competition output.
The sixth station is the big draw of this press. With priming handled at the bottom of the stroke rather than taking up a die station, all six positions stay open for loading operations. That gives you room to add an inline bullet feed die or a powder check die on top of your sizer, powder, seater, and crimp dies.
The press itself swaps calibers in seconds, including primer size, once you have the correct shell plate and die set for that cartridge. This .45 ACP kit can also be used to load .357 Magnum with the appropriate components and load data. For any new caliber you'll need the matching shell plate and dies, which Lee sells separately.
