Description
The KGM R556A1 is a compact suppressor engineered to meet and exceed SOCOM durability and performance standards for full-auto firing, repeatability, and minimal impact on a rifle’s operating system. Built for compatibility across 5.56 rifles of various barrel lengths, the design is particularly well-suited to 14.5″ and longer barrels. The suppressor manages gas flow to vent forward, which reduces backpressure and helps limit gases returning to the shooter. Beginning summer 2024 the R556A1 bore was EDM cut open to accommodate 6mm cartridges such as the 6mm ARC.
