The MDT Worker LSS Gen3 takes your Savage long-action barreled action and drops it into a chassis that's built to be used, not babied. Machined from 6061 aluminum with a durable Cerakote finish, it pairs V-block bedding with a solid receiver interface so your action sits tight and repeatable every time. The Worker kit comes configured with the LSS Gen3 chassis body, a CCS buttstock, a carbine buttstock interface, an Elite pistol grip, and a trigger guard. It feeds from AICS-pattern magazines and runs an ambidextrous mag latch, so reloads are quick and predictable. The short forend wears polymer side panels that keep the profile slim in the hand while giving you grip and a buffer against hot and cold metal in the field. An integrated barricade stop and M-LOK compatibility round out the practical side, letting you hang a bipod, sling, or light where it makes sense for how you shoot.

This exact model is cut for Savage long-action receivers in the 3.850 CIP configuration and is set up for right-handed shooters. Make sure your Savage is a long action rather than a short action before ordering. Note that MDT has flagged some newer 2026 Savage 110 models as not yet compatible, so it's worth confirming your specific rifle year if you have a recent build.
No. The chassis uses V-block aluminum bedding, so you drop in your barreled action, torque the action screws to spec, and you're ready to shoot. There's no glass bedding or machining required.
The Worker LSS Gen3 feeds from AICS-pattern magazines, which are widely available in a range of capacities. It also runs an ambidextrous mag latch for easy reloads from either side. Magazines are not included with the chassis.
You're free to change it up. Since it's built on the LSS Gen3 core, you can swap the buttstock, grip, or forend down the road without removing your barreled action, so you don't lose your zero. That makes it easy to start compact and evolve into a heavier competition or ARCA-forend setup when you're ready.
