Area 419’s Universal SA magazine extension in blue is a machined add-on designed to increase floorplate capacity and improve handling for compatible ARC- and AICS-style magazines. The extension uses an angled attachment rail cut to match the magazine pocket so the cartridge column travels straight into the extension. Fluted side panels provide a positive gripping surface for magazine changes while helping to reduce weight. These extensions were redesigned to work with a range of magazines but are not compatible with AI AW fixed floorplate mags or polymer AI magazines.
