Description

The Sig P365 is a fantastic little carry gun, but that lightweight micro-compact frame comes with sharp, snappy recoil that can slow you down on the second shot. The Tyrant CNC T-Comp is built to fix exactly that. Machined from aluminum and finished in a clean black-on-black look, this compensator threads onto a 1/2×28 barrel and redirects gas upward to knock down muzzle rise, so your sights settle back on target quicker after every trigger pull.

What Sets the T-Comp Apart

Most pistol comps rely on set screws that can chew up your barrel threads and back out over time. Tyrant went a different route with a two-piece design that locks on securely without any set screws or thread locker. You don't even need to break down your gun to install it. It threads onto the front of the muzzle and snugs down with the included o-rings, and the nut doesn't need to be timed since it's ready to lock at any point in the rotation.

Fitment and Real-World Use

The T-Comp is designed for the Sig P365, P365 XL, and P365 XMacro platforms, and works with almost any grain of 9mm ammunition. You will need a threaded barrel with 1/2×28 threads to run it, so if your P365 is still wearing the factory barrel, plan on adding an aftermarket threaded barrel first. Once assembled it clears most open-ended holsters, and it only adds a little over an inch to your overall length. This is a comp that shines at the range and on the training clock where you're sending hundreds of rounds and want to feel the difference on split times.

Getting the Most From Your P365 Comp

Careful, even installation goes a long way here. Seat the o-rings properly and snug the nut down square to the slide without cranking on it, and keep an eye on the o-rings as your wear item over time. Tyrant includes extra o-rings in the box for exactly that reason, so keeping a spare set on hand is smart. Done right, the T-Comp gives you noticeably flatter shooting from a gun that's normally all bark.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Tyrant CNC T-Comp fit a stock Sig P365?

Not on the factory barrel. The T-Comp requires a 1/2×28 threaded barrel to attach, so you'll need to add an aftermarket threaded barrel if your P365 doesn't already have one. Once that's on, the comp threads right up with no gunsmithing needed. It's built to fit the P365, P365 XL, and P365 XMacro platforms.

How does the T-Comp install without set screws?

Tyrant uses a two-piece design that locks on using o-rings and a nut rather than set screws or thread locker. You place an o-ring on the barrel threads, slide the comp body over the muzzle, then tighten the nut down with the included wrench. There's no timing required since it locks at any rotation, and you don't have to break down the gun to do it.

Will the P365 T-Comp work with any 9mm ammo?

Yes, it's designed to function with just about any grain weight of standard 9mm. As with any comp on a micro-compact pistol, a proper install matters for reliable cycling, so seat the o-rings correctly and snug the nut square to the slide. Take it slow on your first range trip to confirm everything runs clean.

Can I carry concealed with the T-Comp installed?

You can, though the added length makes concealed carry a bit trickier and it clears most open-ended holsters rather than closed ones. Where this comp really earns its keep is at the range and in practice, where flatter shooting speeds up your follow-up shots. Many owners run it for training and pull it off for daily carry.
