The MDT ACC Premier Gen2 takes one of the most successful competition chassis platforms on the market and drops it onto the Ruger American Rimfire footprint. It's a refresh of the original ACC Premier that borrows the best ideas from MDT's flagship ACC Elite, so you get a taller integrated barricade stop, a thicker and stiffer forend, and drilled mounting points along the top for MDT's night vision and Control Bridge accessories. If you've been shooting NRL22 or PRS Rimfire and wishing your rig felt more like a full-size PRS gun, this is how you get there.
The forend was trimmed down to a compact 15 inches specifically because rimfire and short-barreled builds are on the rise. That length keeps the balance sensible on a shorter .22 barrel while still giving you a full run of real estate to work with. It's wide, thick, and flat, which kills flex and torsion when you're loaded up on a barricade or a prop. Along both sides you'll find M-LOK slots for weights and accessories, plus a full-length integrated ARCA rail so bipods and tripod clamps go on without an adapter.
Where the ACC Premier Gen2 really earns its keep is tuning. Interior forend weights let you add mass right where you want it, and combined with the M-LOK exterior mounting you can push the balance point exactly where your positional game likes it. The included SRS-X Lite buttstock handles the rest with tool-friendly length of pull spacers and an adjustable cheek riser, so a shooter of just about any size can build a square, repeatable position behind the rifle. An MDT Vertical Grip Premier and integrated thumb shelf round out the ergonomics.
Installation is refreshingly simple. Drop your Ruger American Rimfire action into the V-Block bedding, snug down the action screws, and you're basically ready to go. The tapered V-Block keeps consistent contact between the action and the chassis, which is a big part of squeezing repeatable accuracy out of a rimfire gun. No gunsmithing, no bedding compound, just a solid platform built to train and compete on.
This is the full system, so it ships with the MDT SRS-X Lite buttstock and MDT Vertical Grip Premier already included. The SRS-X Lite gives you adjustable length of pull through spacers and an adjustable cheek riser. That means you can set up your fit right out of the box without buying a separate stock.
It's about as simple as chassis swaps get. You drop the action into the V-Block bedding and tighten the action screws, no bedding compound or gunsmithing required. Most folks have their rifle assembled and ready in a few minutes with basic hand tools.
Yes, and that's one of the platform's strong points. The chassis accepts interior forend weights and has M-LOK slots along both sides for exterior weights, so you can move the balance point exactly where your shooting style wants it. There's also an optional buttstock weight for the SRS-X Lite if you need to shift mass rearward.
The forend has a full-length integrated ARCA rail, so any ARCA-compatible bipod clamp or tripod head clamps right on. You also get M-LOK slots on both sides and the bottom for anything that mounts that way. It's built to be a competition-ready platform without extra hardware to source.
