The .350 Legend has earned a loyal following among deer hunters since Winchester rolled it out in 2019, and the CMMG Resolute Mk4 is one of the best semi-auto homes the cartridge has found. This is a straight-walled round that hits with real authority inside 200 yards while kicking noticeably less than a .30-30 or .243, which makes it a great pick for newer hunters, smaller-framed folks, or anyone who just prefers a pleasant day behind the rifle. CMMG pairs it with a 16.1 inch medium taper barrel in 4140 chrome moly with a salt bath nitride finish, a 1:16 twist that stabilizes the full spread of .350 Legend bullet weights, and a 1/2×28 threaded muzzle wearing a ZEROED muzzle brake.
Where a lot of production ARs cut corners on furniture and controls, the Resolute shows up fully dressed. You get CMMG's ZEROED drop-in single stage trigger, a 60/90 degree ambidextrous safety, ambi charging handle, ambi mag catch with an extended release button, and a polymer dust cover. The EML15 handguard runs M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock positions between Picatinny sections up top, trimming weight while leaving plenty of room for a light, sling mount, or bipod. Out back, CMMG's RipStock snaps to your preferred length of pull the moment you shoulder it, sitting on a 6-position receiver extension with an ambi sling plate.
The whole package weighs in around 6.1 pounds with a billet 6061 upper and forged 7075 lower, all wrapped in Cerakote Coyote Tan for a bi-tone look that stands out from the sea of black rifles. It ships with a 10-round CMMG magazine, and additional 5, 10, and 20 round mags are available if you want spares for the range. The flat top receiver comes without sights, so plan on adding a red dot or low-power scope. CMMG backs it with a lifetime quality guarantee, which says a lot about how they build them.
No, this rifle ships without sights. The flat top upper and Picatinny rail sections on the EML15 handguard give you a clean slate for mounting a red dot, low-power variable optic, or backup irons. Most buyers running it as a deer rifle pair it with a 1-6x or 2-7x scope.
Very manageable. The .350 Legend was designed to deliver solid downrange energy with less kick than rounds like the .30-30 or .243, and the semi-auto action plus the ZEROED muzzle brake tame it even further. It's a comfortable rifle for younger hunters or anyone who shoots better without a shoulder thump.
Yes. The barrel is threaded 1/2×28, so once you remove the factory ZEROED muzzle brake you can install a suppressor or the muzzle device of your choice. The .350 Legend is a popular suppressor host thanks to its heavier bullet options.
You'll want magazines built specifically for .350 Legend, since the cartridge's straight-walled case doesn't feed reliably from standard 5.56 mags. This rifle includes one 10-round CMMG magazine, and CMMG offers additional mags in 5, 10, and 20 round capacities.
