The Breek Arms Warhammer Mod2 takes the everyday mil-spec charging handle and gives it a real-world upgrade. It runs oversized ambidextrous latches that measure 2.78 inches across, so you can charge your AR-15 confidently from the left or right side, even with gloves on. The whole thing is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, latches included, and finished in a Type III hard-coat anodize in OD Green that holds up to hard use and weather. At just under an ounce, it won't throw off the feel of your rifle.
The standout feature here is the Mod2 gas management. Relief cuts on the top and bottom of the stem redirect extra gas out the sides and away from your face, and Breek raised the rear shelf to better seal off the back of the upper for anything that tries to travel straight back. If you shoot suppressed, this is where you'll notice the difference most. The set-back latch geometry also keeps things clear of forward-mounted optics, so a low-profile scope or big magnifier won't foul on the latch when you go to run the gun.
Breek cut textured grooves into the latch handles for a positive bite, which matters when your hands are sweaty or you're wearing bulky gloves. The latches are thin and deep-set rather than bulky, giving you a slick profile that doesn't snag while still leaving plenty of surface to grab. Charging a rifle one-handed can twist a weaker handle over time, and the heavy 7075-T6 construction is built to resist that flex.
This is a direct drop-in replacement for any mil-spec AR-15 or M16 upper. No tools, no gunsmithing, just swap it in and go. It's made in the USA, and the OD Green anodizing pairs nicely with earth-tone and Cerakoted builds if you're chasing a cohesive look.
Yes. It's a direct drop-in replacement for any standard mil-spec AR-15 or M16 upper receiver. No tools or gunsmith are required, so you just pull the old handle and slide this one in.
The Mod2 design adds relief cuts on the top and bottom of the stem to direct extra gas out the sides, plus a raised rear shelf to seal off the back of the upper. Suppressed shooters tend to notice the biggest improvement. It helps manage gas rather than fully eliminating it, and results vary with your build and setup.
That's exactly what the set-back geometry is designed for. The latches sit back far enough to stay clear of forward-mounted scopes and magnifiers that would normally foul with a standard latch position.
It reads as a darker earth-tone green rather than a bright or light shade, which blends well with FDE, tan, and Cerakoted builds. The Type III hard-coat anodizing gives it a durable, matte look that holds up to handling and weather.
