Carrying a rifle for hours can wear on you, and this Ruger Trak Web Sling from Allen is built to take some of that strain off your shoulder. It pairs a non-slip traction web pattern with a molded BAKTRAK pad that conforms to your body and keeps the load from sliding around while you walk. The result is a slim, no-nonsense sling that does its job without a lot of bulk or fuss.
The standout feature here is that molded BAKTRAK pad. It gives the sling a grippy, slightly cushioned surface that grabs onto your jacket or shirt instead of creeping off your shoulder every few steps. That traction makes a real difference on longer treks where a plain nylon strap tends to slip. The pad keeps a slim profile too, so you get the comfort without a giant chunk of padding getting in the way when you shoulder your rifle.
This one ships with premium swivels already included, and they've been tested to hold up to 500 pounds, which is far more than any rifle you're going to hang off it. That kind of rating gives you peace of mind that the connection points aren't going to be the weak link. The sling adjusts from 20 inches out to 36 inches, so you can run it tight for a compact carry or let it out for a looser hang or heavier setup.
Built by the Allen Company under license from Ruger, the Trak Web Sling sticks to what matters: durable webbing, solid hardware, and comfort that holds up trip after trip. The gray finish blends nicely with just about any rifle and gear setup, making it a practical pick for hunting, range days, or general field use.
Yes, this sling ships with premium swivels already included, so you don't need to buy them separately. They've been tested to hold up to 500 pounds, which is well beyond what any rifle will put on them. That gives you a secure, dependable connection to your firearm right out of the package.
The molded BAKTRAK pad is a grippy, slightly cushioned section that keeps the sling from sliding off your shoulder as you move. It also helps spread the weight of the rifle so it feels more comfortable during long carries. The pad stays slim, so you get the traction and comfort without added bulk.
The sling adjusts from 20 inches all the way out to 36 inches. That range lets you cinch it up tight for a close carry or open it up for a looser hang or a bigger rifle setup. It's a versatile fit that works for a variety of carry styles.
Absolutely. While it's built under license from Ruger and pairs well with their rifles, the included swivels attach to any rifle with standard sling studs. It's a solid all-around choice for hunting rifles and range guns alike.
