The heart of this kit is the BCM PNT (Polished Nickel Teflon) trigger assembly. The trigger and hammer are precision-machined from AISI 8620 investment casting per the USGI technical data package, then run through a three-step heat treat and case hardening process for a stronger, more wear-resistant part. The nickel finish carries embedded Teflon particles that cut friction, which is why the roughly 5.5 lb single-stage pull feels smooth and predictable with noticeably less creep than a bargain trigger. It's not a match-grade competition trigger, but for a duty, defense, or general range build it punches well above a standard Mil-Spec unit.
Instead of the old A2 grip, you get the BCM Gunfighter Mod 3. The reduced grip angle lines your wrist up more naturally with the rifle, which helps trigger control and cuts fatigue over long strings. It runs a touch wider than the Mod 0 and Mod 1, has a high-rise beavertail backstrap, and includes an extended forward tang that closes the gap at the trigger guard. There's also a hinged storage compartment with a water-resistant gasket for a battery, spare parts, or small tools. The matching Enhanced Trigger Guard rounds out the FDE color scheme.
Detents wear a corrosion-resistant chromate coating so they won't seize in the receiver, springs are 17-7PH stainless for long-term tension, and the buffer retainer and bolt stop plunger are hardened alloy steel with a phosphate finish. Install is straightforward with basic tools, and the parts drop into standard Mil-Spec lowers without fuss.

Builders regularly run these parts in Aero Precision, FN, and similar Mil-Spec lowers without fit or function issues. If your receiver is truly Mil-Spec, you're good to go.
