Tanfoglio has a long history of producing serious competition pistols out of Gardone Val Trompia, Italy, and the Force TB 22 carries that same pedigree into the rimfire world. The Force TB is a tactical variant of the Force Duty platform, and it's sized like a full-size centerfire pistol, which is exactly the point. It gives you the same grip, same feel, and same manual of arms as the bigger guns, just with .22 LR running through it.
The heart of this pistol is its blowback-operated action with a fixed bull barrel. That stainless 4.4" barrel is CNC machined from chrome-moly steel and threaded 1/2×28 TPI, so it's ready to run suppressed without any adapter shopping. The aluminum slide is optic-cut, ported, and front-serrated, and it sits inside the frame CZ 75 style rather than riding on top of it, which keeps the bore axis low and helps with muzzle flip. Tanfoglio had to go with an aluminum slide to keep the reciprocating mass light enough for .22 LR to cycle reliably, and it works well.
The polymer frame is loaded with practical features: a built-in beavertail for a high, consistent grip; textured tactical grips with an integrated magwell and XL base pad; a full-length Picatinny rail up front for a light or laser; and an ambidextrous safety with a reversible mag release for left-hand shooters. The OR Flexi System optic cut on the slide supports multiple sight configurations, from fixed and adjustable iron sights to RSMC-style red dot plates and multidot options.
