The CZ P-10 C has been earning its reputation since 2017, and at this point it has little left to prove. CZ set out to build a compact striker-fired 9mm that improved on the formula rather than just copying it, and that's exactly what they delivered. The result is a pistol that fits a wide range of hands, shoots softer than you'd expect from a compact, and comes out of the box with features you'd normally pay extra to add.
The trigger is one of the first things people notice. It breaks cleanly at 4 to 4.5 pounds with minimal stacking and a short, positive reset that makes follow-up shots feel natural. Pair that with CZ's grip geometry — a mild palm swell, high beavertail, and deep undercut trigger guard — and you've got a pistol that instinctively points where you want it to go and lets you get a proper high grip without fighting for it.
The 4.02-inch cold hammer-forged barrel rides inside a black nitride-finished steel slide, with front and rear serrations for easy slide manipulation. The fiber-reinforced polymer frame keeps weight around 26 ounces while still feeling solid and substantial in the hand. Metal 3-dot sights come standard, which is more than can be said for a lot of pistols in this price range, and the rear sight is dovetailed if you ever want to swap in night sights. The integrated Picatinny rail under the frame handles lights and lasers without any adapters.
Three interchangeable backstraps are included so you can dial in the fit. Controls are fully ambidextrous with a reversible magazine catch and ambi slide release, which is a thoughtful touch regardless of which hand you shoot with. Takedown is simple and tool-free, similar to what Glock users will already be familiar with.
This package ships with two 15-round magazines, putting you at 15+1 capacity right out of the box with a spare on hand. Whether this is your everyday carry gun, a home defense option, or just a reliable range companion, the P-10 C handles all three without complaint.
The two are very close in overall dimensions, with the P-10 C coming in at 7.3 inches long and 5.2 inches tall. The grip is slightly longer with a magazine inserted, but the difference is minimal for carry purposes. Most people who can conceal a G19 won't have any trouble carrying the P-10 C.
The standard P-10 C (MPN 91531) does not have an optics cut and comes with fixed 3-dot metal sights. If you want to run a red dot, CZ offers a separate optics-ready variant called the P-10 C OR, which uses a plate system to accommodate various optic footprints.
