The Luth-AR MBA-2 Skullaton takes the tried-and-true A2 rifle stock and strips it down to what matters. It keeps the familiar 13.5-inch length of pull that A2 shooters already know and love, but the fully skeletonized shape drops the weight to right around 11.5 ounces. If you have run a standard A2 stock, you already know how it shoulders. This one feels the same up top but noticeably lighter overall, which adds up over a long day at the range or in the field.
It is molded from super-strong glass-filled nylon, so it holds up to real use without adding bulk. The castle nut and lock ring are built right into the design, which means installation is quick and the finished setup sits tight with no rattle. It ships with the A2 buttstock screw and drops onto a standard rifle-length A2 buffer tube. Note that the buffer tube itself is not included, so if you are starting from scratch you will want to grab a rifle-length tube kit to go with it.
Beyond the weight savings, the Skullaton gives you multiple sling attachment points so you can rig it up however your build calls for. It is a simpler, non-adjustable take on Luth-AR's modular lineup, which makes it a great pick for anyone who wants clean lines and dependable performance without extra moving parts. The rubber butt pad keeps it planted in your shoulder for consistent, repeatable shots.
