Every piece here is produced by established USGI contractors to meet or exceed military specifications. No polymer stand-ins, no guessing on tolerances. You get the bolt catch and its plunger, roll pin, and spring, the magazine catch with spring and button, front pivot pin, rear takedown pin, two pivot/takedown detents and springs, the safety detent and spring, a right-hand semi-auto safety selector, an aluminum GI trigger guard with its roll pin, and two trigger/hammer pins. It's the connective tissue of the whole lower.

Fitting the TRLOWERK Kit to Your Build

This kit is made for a standard mil-spec forged AR-15 lower, and it plays nicely with the receivers most folks are working with. One thing worth flagging up front: there's no fire control group inside, meaning no hammer, trigger, disconnector, or their springs. That's on purpose. Plenty of builders skip the mil-spec trigger anyway and drop in a drop-in cassette or a favorite two-stage unit, so leaving it out keeps you from paying for parts that end up in a spare-parts drawer.

To finish a working rifle you'll still want a stripped lower, your trigger of choice, a pistol grip, a buffer tube assembly, and of course a complete upper and bolt carrier group. Take your time on the bolt catch roll pin and the detents, keep a punch and some good lighting handy, and this kit goes together clean. It's a dependable foundation from a name that's been doing serious AR work since 1977.
