True Precision builds these using their proprietary broach-cut, 6-groove rifling with a 1:10 twist, which does a nice job stabilizing common 9mm bullet weights. The chamber is cut to full SAAMI spec and fully supported, and the broach-cut rifling handles all ammo types, including plated and cast lead, so you are not locked into jacketed rounds only. What really makes these barrels shine is the tolerance work. The tighter fit and improved lockup over a factory Glock barrel is where the accuracy gains come from, and folks who run them tend to see noticeably tighter groups.
The muzzle wears 1/2×28 threads, the standard pitch for 9mm suppressors and muzzle devices, so bolting on a can or compensator is straightforward. True Precision puts a lot of emphasis on concentricity here, which matters when you are running a suppressor and want to avoid baffle strikes. An 11-degree recessed target crown protects the rifling and supports a clean, consistent bullet exit. It ships with a Viton high-heat O-ring thread protector to keep the threads clean when you are shooting bare.
