Cross Industries engineered these magazines from a specialized polymer formulated specifically for cold weather impact resistance. The material maintains consistent mechanical properties from -22 degrees Fahrenheit all the way to room temperature, which is a significant advantage over standard polymer mags that lose strength in frigid conditions. This means your magazines perform the same whether you're shooting in summer heat or on a winter hunt.
The translucent bodies let you check your ammo status without removing the magazine from your gun. This is particularly useful if you're running different ammunition types, like mixing standard 5.56 with 300 Blackout, since you can visually distinguish between them. No guessing, no press-checking rounds.
