This CMC kit takes the guesswork out of finishing an AR-15 lower by bundling the brand's signature flat trigger with every small internal your receiver needs. The centerpiece is a non-adjustable, single-stage flat trigger factory-set to 3-3.5 lb, tuned for a light take-up and a break with no gritty creep behind it. No, the pistol grip is not included with this kit, so you will need to add one to finish your lower. Everything else needed to complete the lower internals is in the box, including the trigger. Grips are inexpensive and easy to source, so it is a quick add-on.
It is designed for small-pin AR-15 lower receivers, which covers the vast majority of standard mil-spec lowers. If your receiver uses large-pin (Colt-style) holes, this kit will not line up. Check your receiver's pin spec before ordering if you are unsure.
No, the flat trigger is a non-adjustable single-stage unit set at the factory to 3-3.5 lb. That fixed weight is intentional and keeps the break crisp and consistent every time. If it ever needs service, CMC will repair or replace it under their warranty.
If you have basic AR building tools like roll pin punches and a bench block, it is a manageable job for a first-timer. The trigger and detents drop in the same way any standard lower parts kit does. Take your time with the small springs and detents, and you will be set.
