The Anechoic DTA1228 is one of those simple parts that makes a suppressor setup a whole lot more useful. It threads into the 1.375×24 HUB body of your AnechoX suppressor and converts it to direct thread fitment for 1/2×28 muzzle threads, which covers most 5.56 rifles, threaded 22s, and 9mm pistol barrels out there. Screw it into the can, spin the can onto your barrel, and you're done. No proprietary muzzle device required on the host gun.
Every ounce you hang off the end of a barrel changes how a gun handles, and it gets worse the further from your hands that weight sits. Anechoic machined this adapter from solid titanium, bringing it in at a scant 0.8 ounces, which is up to three times lighter than comparable steel direct thread adapters. You get the corrosion resistance and strength titanium is known for without the front-heavy feel a steel mount adds. The matte black finish is low glare and blends cleanly with the AnechoX line and just about any host firearm.
This adapter is built for AnechoX suppressors, with the exception of the AnechoX 22, and it also plays nice with other cans that use the industry standard 1.375×24 threaded body. That HUB pattern compatibility means the DTA1228 isn't locked to one brand, so if you run multiple suppressors on that thread spec, this one piece of titanium can pull double duty. Keep in mind the AnechoX DTA wrench is needed for proper installation and is sold separately, so grab one if you don't already have it in your kit.
