B5 Systems built the Modular Picatinny Stock to take the ergonomics people love on AR-15 builds and drop them onto just about anything with a 1913 rear rail. It clamps onto a Picatinny mount, so you're not locked into a specific buffer tube or receiver setup. That opens the door to pistol-caliber builds, braced lowers with a Pic adapter, AK-pattern guns running a rear rail, and plenty of other platforms that don't play nice with a standard AR stock.
The headline feature is the integral left-side folding steel hinge, which lets you fold the stock flat for storage, transport, or tighter clearance in a bag or safe. Because it's real steel and part of the design rather than a bolt-on afterthought, it holds up to repeated folding without getting sloppy. You also get a collapsible length of pull with about 2 1/4 inches of adjustment, so tall guys, smaller-framed guys, and anyone shooting in a plate carrier can all dial in a fit that works.
Up top there's a spring-assist cheek riser that adds a half inch of height for cleaner sight or optic alignment. Popping it up is quick: pull back and push up to raise it, pull back and push down to drop it. That consistent cheek weld makes a real difference when you're running a magnified optic or trying to shoot tight groups. The cushioned non-slip buttpad keeps the stock planted on your shoulder and soaks up some of the felt recoil during longer strings.
Sling options are built for either hand, with fixed mounting points plus steel anti-rotational QD cups so your sling stays put and doesn't twist. Everything is constructed from durable composite with color-matched steel hardware, and it's made in the USA. At right around 16.8 ounces, it keeps your build balanced without feeling like dead weight hanging off the back. The Coyote Brown finish pairs cleanly with FDE and tan rifle builds if you're going for a matched look.
It mounts to any firearm with a standard 1913 Picatinny rear rail, which is what makes it so versatile. That covers AR lowers set up with a rear Pic adapter, pistol-caliber builds, AK-pattern guns running a rear rail, and other platforms that won't take a normal AR buffer-tube stock. As long as your rifle has that rear Picatinny interface, you're good to go.
Yes on both counts. The integral left-side steel hinge lets it fold flat for storage and transport, then locks back solid for shooting. You get the compactness of a side-folder with the stable, rigid feel of a fixed stock once it's deployed.
The collapsible length of pull gives you about 2 1/4 inches of range to fit different shooters and gear setups. The spring-assist cheekpiece raises up another 1/2 inch for better sight and optic alignment. To move the cheek riser, just pull back and push up to raise it or push down to lower it.
It comes with ambidextrous fixed sling mounts plus steel anti-rotational quick disconnect cups. That means you can run your sling on either side and swap it fast with QD hardware. The anti-rotation design keeps the QD swivel from twisting so your setup stays consistent.
