When a shot opportunity comes and goes in seconds, digging through a pack or pocket for your next round isn't an option. The Allen Next Shot Bridger Buttstock Cartridge Carrier puts seven rifle cartridges right where your support hand naturally lands, so a quick reload is more instinct than fumble. It slides over the buttstock, cinches down with an adjustable strap, and stays put through the recoil and rough handling that come with a real day in the woods.
The seven elastic loops are sized to grip a broad range of rounds, anywhere from a slim .223 up to a fat 300 Winchester Magnum, which means one carrier covers most bolt guns and hunting rigs you're likely to run. That versatility makes it an easy pick whether you're carrying an AR-pattern .223, a 30-06, a 6.5 Creedmoor, or a magnum elk rifle. The loops hold rounds snug enough that they won't rattle loose on a long hike but still pull free clean when you need them.
One thing that sets this carrier apart from a bare shell holder is the soft exterior fabric and cushioned cheek piece. Resting your face on bare synthetic or wood stock gets old fast, and this gives you a more comfortable spot to settle in while keeping your eye lined up behind the scope. It's a small touch that pays off during longer sits and repeat shots.
The adjustable strap system lets you mount the Bridger in seconds without tools and position the loops for the fastest grab. It measures roughly 8 by 5 by 2 inches, compact enough that it doesn't throw off your rifle's balance or catch on brush. The gray and black finish keeps things low key in the field, and when the season's over it pulls off just as quick as it went on.
The elastic loops are sized to fit rounds from .223 up to 300 Winchester Magnum, which covers most common hunting and rifle calibers in between like 30-06, 6.5 Creedmoor, 308, and 270. The loops stretch to grip the case, so a wide range of diameters work fine. Very short or very stubby cartridges may sit looser than a standard rifle round.
It's designed with an adjustable strap system to fit over the buttstock of most rifles, from standard bolt guns to AR-pattern stocks. You just slide it on and cinch the strap down to hold it in place. It also comes off in seconds when you want to swap it to another gun or store it away.
Yes. The carrier is built with a soft exterior fabric and a cushioned cheek piece, so you get a more comfortable spot to rest your face while lining up behind your sights or scope. It's a nice upgrade over resting on bare stock during longer shooting sessions.
It carries seven rifle cartridges in individual elastic loops. That's enough for a follow-up magazine and then some, keeping your ammo right on the rifle and ready to grab without reaching into a pack or pocket.
