The CRB Gen II is the carbine version of the platform, built around a 16-inch barrel and chambered in .45 ACP, the cartridge the Vector was originally designed for. What makes it special is the Super V recoil mitigation system, a delayed blowback design that sends the bolt energy down and back instead of straight into your shoulder. Combine that with a bore axis so low the barrel sits nearly in line with your arm, and you get a big-bore carbine that stays flat and comes back on target fast.
Most pistol caliber carbines in .45 have a little thump to them. This one does not. The Super V system and the low bore geometry work together to tame muzzle rise, which is exactly what you want for quick follow-up shots at the range or on the clock in a PCC match. The 16-inch barrel is 4140 chrome moly steel with a durable black nitride finish, and it wrings extra velocity out of standard .45 ACP loads while keeping things pleasant to shoot.
Magazines are simple. The Vector runs on Glock G21 pattern mags, and this one comes with a single 10-round magazine in the box. Up top you get a full-length Picatinny rail with flip-up front and rear sights already installed, so you can shoot it as-is or add a red dot and keep the irons folded as backups. There is a lower accessory rail for a light, and the safety is ambidextrous, which lefties will appreciate.

It runs on Glock G21 pattern .45 ACP magazines, and this model ships with one 10-round magazine. Because the G21 platform is so common, spare mags are easy to find just about anywhere. That shared magazine ecosystem is one of the Vector's most practical features.
Instead of driving the bolt straight back like a traditional blowback gun, the Super V system uses a sliding mass that travels downward behind the magazine well, redirecting recoil energy away from your shoulder. Paired with the Vector's extremely low bore axis, the result is noticeably less muzzle rise than you'd expect from a .45 carbine. It makes fast follow-up shots much easier to keep on target.
Yes, the full-length Picatinny top rail accepts red dots, magnifiers, and low power scopes without any extra hardware. The included flip-up front and rear sights fold down out of the way, so you can run an optic and keep the irons as backups. Many owners set up a lower one-third co-witness with a red dot.
