The KRISS Vector CRB G2 in 9mm is built around the Super V Recoil Mitigation System, a nonlinear delayed blowback design that sends recoil energy down and away instead of straight back into your shoulder. Pair that with a bore axis that sits below the fire control group and you get a carbine that stays remarkably flat during rapid fire. Follow-up shots come quick, and dot movement between shots is minimal, which is exactly why these show up so often in pistol caliber carbine divisions.
The 16-inch barrel is 4140 chrome moly steel with a Black Nitride QPQ finish and a 1:10 twist, wrapped in KRISS' signature square barrel shroud. Up top you get a full-length Picatinny rail with low-profile flip-up sights already installed, plus a lower rail for a light, laser, or foregrip. The Gen 2 updates matter too: a redesigned two-stage quick-reset trigger, a more comfortable pistol grip, and a short-throw ambidextrous safety that works no matter which shoulder you run it from. The 6-position collapsible stock adjusts length of pull for different builds and gear setups.
Magazines are the easy part. The Vector CRB feeds from full-size Glock pattern mags, so spares are cheap, everywhere, and available in plenty of capacities, including the extended 40-round option. If you already own a Glock in 9mm, your mag pouch is ready to go on day one.

It feeds from full-size Glock pattern 9mm magazines, like the ones used in the Glock 17. That means spare mags are affordable and easy to find, and extended options up to 40 rounds run great in this platform. If you already own a 9mm Glock, your existing magazines will work.
Instead of sending the bolt straight back, the Super V system uses a nonlinear, multi-link delayed blowback design that redirects recoil energy downward behind the magazine well. Combined with the Vector's extremely low bore axis, felt recoil and muzzle rise are noticeably reduced compared to a standard straight blowback 9mm carbine. The result is a gun that stays flat during quick follow-up shots.
Yes, the full-length Picatinny top rail handles red dots, holographic sights, or magnified optics with no extra hardware needed. The included low-profile flip-up sights fold down out of the way and can co-witness with many red dots. There's also a lower rail for a light, laser, or foregrip.
It's one of the more popular picks in pistol caliber carbine divisions for good reason. The flat-shooting Super V system helps with fast transitions and quick splits, and the two-stage quick-reset trigger is a nice upgrade over the first generation. Cheap 9mm ammo and common Glock mags keep match costs reasonable too.
