Description
Most iron sights make you pick a lane. Fiber optic front sights glow like crazy in daylight but go dark when the sun does, and plain tritium sights are great at midnight but wash out under bright conditions. The Trijicon DI Night Sights split the difference by running both systems at once, so you get a sharp green aiming point whether you're on the range at noon or clearing a dark hallway.
Up front, the green fiber optic soaks up ambient light for a glowing dot during the day, while a tritium lamp capped with a sapphire jewel keeps it lit in total darkness with no batteries and no charging required. The rear sight uses green tritium inserts for a clean three-dot alignment after dark. Both front and rear carry black outlines, which helps the green really pop against the sight body when you're driving the gun fast.
What Sets the DI Night Sights Apart
The headline feature is the user-replaceable fiber, an industry first when these launched. A threaded steel retainer on the front sight unscrews so you can pop out a damaged pipe and drop in a fresh one at the kitchen table, no gunsmith needed. The set ships with a .078 green fiber already installed plus two extra green replacements, and Trijicon offers fiber and retainer colors in green, red, amber, and orange if you want to personalize the picture. Worth knowing up front: green is the color that lights up under tritium at night, so the other shades are best thought of as daytime setups.
Built for Real Carry and Duty Work
The fiber and tritium vial sit inside a housing machined from solid steel, so this isn't a delicate range toy. The rear sight also features a steeply hooked front face that gives you a ledge for racking the slide one-handed against a belt or holster if a hand ever goes down.
This dovetail set is cut for standard-frame Glocks including the 17, 19, 22, 23, 26, 34, 35, 45 and more. It does not fit MOS models. Trijicon recommends professional installation to seat everything correctly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the Trijicon DI Night Sights fit my Glock?
This set is cut for standard-frame Glocks, covering models like the 17, 17L, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37, 38, 39, and 45. It will not fit MOS models. If your slide is milled for an optic cut with the MOS system, you'll want a different Trijicon set.
Do I really get a glowing dot at night with the fiber optic?
The nighttime glow comes from the tritium lamp, not the fiber itself, so you're covered in total darkness with no batteries. The green fiber is the one that works best with the tritium, which is why it comes pre-installed. If you swap to red, amber, or orange fiber, treat those as daytime setups since they won't light up under the tritium after dark.
How hard is it to replace the fiber on the DI Night Sights?
It's genuinely simple and one of the big selling points here. A threaded steel retainer on the front sight unscrews so you can pull a worn or damaged fiber and drop a new one in yourself, no gunsmith trip required. The set includes two spare green fibers to get you started.
Do these sights need professional installation?
Trijicon recommends professional installation so the sights seat squarely in the dovetail and stay zeroed. Rear sights typically need a sight pusher and the front often uses a specific tool, so unless you have the gear and experience, a gunsmith or knowledgeable shop is the safe route.
