Yes, the raised profile is built to co-witness with slide-mounted optics like the Trijicon RMR, SRO, and Holosun 507C. Depending on your optic and mounting plate you'll typically get a lower 1/3 or absolute co-witness. Owners regularly report a clean co-witness on Gen 3 through Gen 5 slides.
This set is cut for the standard Glock dovetail and fits the 17, 17L, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37, 38, and 39. That covers most common calibers including 9mm, .40, .357 SIG, and .45 GAP. It will not fit slimline models like the 43 or 48, which use a different cut.
A sight pusher is strongly recommended for the rear sight and a front sight tool for the front, which keeps the delicate tritium vials safe and lets you dial in windage precisely. If you don't own those tools, a gunsmith can install them in about ten minutes. Some folks also add a dab of thread locker on the front sight screw for a long-lasting fit.
The green tritium lamps are warranted for 12 years from the date of manufacture and require no batteries. They glow continuously on their own, so there's nothing to charge or switch on. You'll get a bright, self-illuminated sight picture the whole time you own them.
