Blazer Brass is designed and recommended for range practice, training, and plinking. The full metal jacket design means no expansion. For duty or defense situations, you should use purpose-built hollow point or self-defense ammunition designed for those applications.
Regular Blazer comes in aluminum cases which aren't reloadable, while Blazer Brass uses reloadable brass cases. Both are made on the same equipment to the same standards, but if you reload or plan to keep your brass, Blazer Brass is the better choice for long-term value.
