Alexander’s Store operates in full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing the sale of firearms, firearm parts, ammunition, and related accessories.
The restrictions outlined by Alexander’s Store are provided for general informational purposes only and should not be considered legal advice, and are in no way guaranteed to be a comprehensive list. We do not make any guarantees regarding the legality of specific products in any jurisdiction. It is the customer’s responsibility to understand and comply with all laws and regulations applicable in their area.
Customer Acknowledgment and Certification
By purchasing from Alexander’s Store, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- You are solely responsible for ensuring that the purchase, possession, ownership, and use of any item complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws in your jurisdiction
- You have independently verified that your purchase and intended use of any item is legal in your state and local area
- You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Alexander’s Store and its affiliates from any liability, claims, or legal consequences arising from your purchase, possession, or use of any item
Failure to comply with applicable laws may result in serious legal consequences. If you are unsure about the legality of a product in your area, you should consult a qualified attorney or your local law enforcement agency before making a purchase.
We do not sell any merchandise to the following locations:

All firearms will be shipped to the premises address listed on the FFL license unless a request is made to ship to the mailing address
All FFL licenses are verified through the FFL EZ Check system and must match exactly to prevent delays or order cancellations
It is the dealer’s responsibility to ensure a current and valid copy of the FFL license is on file
No items will be shipped to a P.O. Box. Freight forwarding is required for all shipments to Alaska and Hawaii

Conneticut
General Prohibitions & Shipping Restrictions
- Receivers: Stripped or complete receivers, specifically those for AR or AK platforms, are prohibited.
- AR/AK Platforms: AR or AK rifles and pistols are not permitted.
- Parts & Components: No AR or AK-specific parts will be shipped to the state.
- Accessories: Sales of binary triggers, threaded barrels, vertical grips, and stabilizing braces or blades are prohibited.
- Body Armor: No sales or shipments of body armor.
Ammunition & Magazine Regulations
- Permit Requirements: A CTP (Connecticut Permit) is mandatory for purchasing both ammunition and magazines.
- Capacity Limits: Magazines are restricted to a maximum of 10 rounds, with shotgun-specific magazines limited to 5 rounds.
- Age Restrictions: Residents under 18 cannot purchase magazines or ammunition. Residents under 21 cannot purchase semi-auto rifles with a capacity exceeding 5 rounds.
- Fulfillment: Third-party fulfillment for ammunition is not allowed.
Specific Firearm Configurations: Semi-Auto Rifles
- With Detachable Magazines: Prohibited features include folding/telescoping stocks, threaded barrels, flash suppressors, forward pistol grips, bayonet mounts, grenade/flare launchers, or any grip that places the trigger hand below the action.
- With Fixed Magazines: Restricted to a maximum capacity of 10 rounds.
Semi-Auto Pistols
- With Detachable Magazines: Prohibited if they feature a magazine outside the pistol grip, a threaded barrel (compatible with suppressors/grips), a barrel shroud (excluding the slide), a secondary grip, or if the total weight exceeds 50 oz.
- With Fixed Magazines: Restricted to a maximum capacity of 10 rounds.
Semi-Auto Shotguns
The following features are prohibited:
- Folding or telescoping stocks.
- Pistol grips, thumbhole stocks, or grips allowing the hand to be positioned under the action.
- Barrel shrouds (excluding handguards).
- Ability to accept detachable magazines.
- Revolving cylinders.
Other Firearms (Non-Standard)
Firearms that do not fall into the standard categories (e.g., smoothbore “firearms” like the Mossberg Shockwave or Tac-14) are prohibited if they have a pistol grip. Additionally, “Other” semi-auto firearms cannot have:
- Pistol grips or thumbhole stocks.
- Detachable magazines outside the pistol grip.
- Fixed magazines over 10 rounds.
- Threaded barrels, flash suppressors, or silencers.
- Barrel shrouds, secondary grips, or arm braces.
Delaware
Delaware Restrictions
- Suppressors and silencers are not permitted for sale
- Automatic knives are prohibited
- Binary triggers are not allowed
- Rifles and shotguns may not be sold to Delaware residents under 21 years of age
Firearm Platform Restrictions
- AR-15 and AK-47 platforms, including rifles, pistols, and completed lower receivers, are not eligible for sale or shipment
Airgun Restrictions
- Airguns may not exceed .177 caliber
Magazine Capacity Limits
- Magazines may not hold more than 17 rounds
- Semi-automatic centerfire rifles with fixed magazines over 17 rounds are prohibited
- Semi-automatic centerfire pistols with fixed magazines over 17 rounds are prohibited
Semi-Automatic Rifle Restrictions
- Semi-automatic, centerfire rifles with an overall length under 30 inches are not allowed
- Semi-automatic, centerfire rifles that accept detachable magazines are prohibited if equipped with any of the following:
- Folding or telescoping stock
- Pistol grip or thumbhole stock
- Forward pistol grip
- Flash suppressor
- Grenade launcher or flare launcher
Semi-Automatic Shotgun Restrictions
- Semi-automatic shotguns are prohibited if they include any of the following:
- Detachable magazine
- Both a pistol grip and a folding or telescoping stock
- Revolving cylinder
Semi-Automatic Pistol Restrictions
- Semi-automatic pistols with detachable magazines are prohibited if they include any of the following:
- Magazine that attaches outside of the pistol grip
- Threaded barrel
- Barrel shroud (excluding the slide)
- Secondary hand grip

- Magazines with a capacity exceeding 10 rounds are not permitted
- Tannerite and similar binary explosives are not available for sale
- Flamethrowers are not available for sale
- Binary trigger systems are not available
- Handguns must be listed on Maryland’s approved handgun roster to be eligible for shipment
- Stun guns are not available for sale
- AR-15 rifles must be configured with a heavy barrel
- Shotguns with folding stocks or revolving cylinders are not permitted
