Critical components receive Fail Zero’s EXO Nickel Boron treatment to provide dry lubricity, increased wear resistance, and corrosion protection. The carrier ships with a black exterior topcoat while the treated contact areas feature the Nickel Boron finish, and the unit is DPMS-pattern compatible for drop-in installation in most mil-spec AR10 upper receivers.

The carrier includes a black topcoat over the EXO Nickel Boron treatment; wear areas such as ramps, rails, and carrier ends may show the Nickel Boron beneath over time, while non-wear exterior areas typically retain the black overcoat.
